Recent guests to the Cinelli website will have seen that the Italian company has started True Stories, a kind of blog featuring perspectives from a wide range of people involved in cycling.
It’s updated pretty regularly, but for me the highlights so far are an interview with artisan framebuilder Dario Pegoretti, Mike Giant pics and some amazing old advertising images, including the one above (for mountain bikes, duh). And especially a catalogue image of a titanium-framed ‘Hyperion’, an evolution of the company’s legendary Laser bicycle that never really saw the light of day.
