The new VanDOit LIV is the next evolution of the original GO model, and it’s based on the brand new 2020 Ford Transit AWD platform. Using a modular interior design, it has a huge number of potential layouts, using options for an interior shower, off-grid power system, hydraulic bed lift, and much more. And, naturally, a slide-out bike tray to keep our precious rides safe inside…

VanDOit LIV modular adventure van options

VanDOit is breaking ground with the new LIV model – a big upgrade over the (very capable) original GO model. The LIV is going to be built on the all-new 2020 Ford Transit AWD, and has a huge number of upgrades for your camping adventures. VanDOit is different than most van outfitters in that they actually own all of the van inventory and sell you a 100% completed package – with no need to buy a van and ship it off for the build.

The LIV retains the Gear Slide of the original model, but has a more open space, leaving room for tons of options…

  • A folding leaf on the hydraulic Queen/King size bed lift, allowing for more “LIV” space and headroom for the third row of passenger seating without having to raise the bed
  • Off-grid power battery bank system capacity extended by 50 amp hours
  • Removal option of the mid-van electronics box (which can act as a step or bench)
  • Rear side cabinet electronic system with battery bank (instead of inside the passenger sliding door) creating more LIV space
  • VanDOit’s EverShower (indoor/outdoor hot shower)
  • Portable hot water system
  • Wood grain-style marine grade flooring, cabinetry and gear slide
  • Now available with 8 passenger removable seating
  • Lithium battery auto vehicle start charging system (coming first quarter 2020)
  • External, foldable, portable solar expansion panels and port
  • Flush mounted solar panels with increased 390 charging watts on the exclusive VanDOit “easy-mount roof rack”
  • Vented front driver and passenger side windows
  • Low profile high efficiency air conditioner that can operate off the battery and charging system
  • Dual air vents
  • Eye level switch, cooling and heat controls
  • Multi-location audio controls
  • Thule Hideaway mechanical awning
  • Galley kitchen (optional) with overhead hanging cabinets, wall cabinets (optional) and upright refrigerator (optional) (Removable kitchen pod and refrigerator still available)

VanDOit emphasizes that, beyond having many options to choose from, the key benefit is the fact that they’re SOOOOO modular, man…

The LIV is available to order now, with a 7-month lead time. Prices range from $59,800 to $108,800 depending on options chosen. VanDOit accepts trade-ins on any vehicle, and also offers conventional auto and RV financing.

I’m sure that they’ll leave the graphics off for anyone willing to sign on the dotted line. But it’s silly to hate on show vehicles for being showy.

So they just have a bunch of Bosch/80-20 Tubing throughout the thing, not really neatly intergrated into the van, and they charge 60 grand for it. I’m in the wrong business.
