Alpen Bike Capsule is nearly here after funding through Indigogo. The futuristic bike capsule is made of polyethylene shells with waterproofing protection and a locking mechanism. It measures in at 79″L x 32″W x 53″H and will contain a bike up to 75″ long and 46″ tall. They’re available for a limited time for $1,500 and free shipping in the US.
Sneak Peek of Terrene’s new tire
Terrene Tires was recently caught on Instagram previewing a new set of tires. They’re photographed on the Ibis Ripley LS 29er. The rig will fit up to a 2.6″ tire, but we expect the set to be slightly smaller. The above photo shows some deep knobs with wide spacing between them so expect them to live up to their name, Chunk. The official launch is coming April 19th, stay tuned for the details.
QuadLock now secures Samsung Galaxy S9(+)
Since their launch in 2012, QuadLock announced a case/mount combo specifically made for Samsung’s Galaxy S9(+) phone. The mount installs with its provided o-rings and zip ties. While a molded microfiber lined case holds the phone. The $70 system secures and separates in seconds and will be available sometime this month. Even though the S9 is water-resistant in up to 5′ of water there will be an accessory to prevent rain damage.

Poler gave Yakima’s SkyRise rooftop tent a makeover. It may be hard to find, but if you blur your vision it may just pop out. The aesthetically redesigned $1,600 camouflage tent sleeps 3 people (or 2 comfortably) and is has a quick ‘n’ easy setup process.
