Why Cycles has the answer to carrying extra gear on your titanium bike. Thanks to a partnership with local bag maker, Defiant Pack, they are now offering custom made bags for three of their bikes. Not only are the bags custom to each frame model and size, but they also lack zippers for long term durability.
Starting with a size and shape tailored to the S7, R+, or Wayward models, each bag includes keyhole water bottle mounts for easy installation. That means you don’t have to completely remove the screws to install – just loosen, slide the bag over, and tighten. The bags also use additional padded straps for added stability. Unique to the Defiant design is a padded flap that goes over the top tube and secures with a single buckle. This guarantees you’ll never have to deal with a broken zipper.
Each bag is made from vinyl wear resistant fabric with closed cell foam padding. Inside you’ll find high visibility fabric to make odds and ends easier to find, as well as internal compression straps to manage the load. A hydration pass through and drain hole ensure you’ll stay hydrated and the water will have somewhere to go if you spring a leak.
Options include separate sizing for the three frames and each frame size, as well as black or black camo side panels, and black or orange center vinyl strips. Single bags will run $225, and have a 2-3 week lead time.
