Win a Custom Cervelo S3
Between now and Christmas Eve at 10 AM GMT, endurance cyclist Chris Hall will be raffling a one-off custom Cervelo S3 that he designed in collaboration with Cervelo and Gun Control Custom Paint, in order to raise money for The Pace Centre and Movember. An entry will cost you £10 which gets evenly split between the two charities. There is no limit on number of entries.
The Cervelo S3 frame was lovingly hand-painted by Chris following his recent endurance challenge of riding 107 miles everyday during the 107th running of the Tour de France. This frame was then prepared and professionally finished by Gun Control Custom paint. The size 51 S3 frame was then built up with Shimano’s Ultegra Di2 groupset, and comes with a set of Parcours carbon rims.
Chris said “Both The Pace Centre and Movember do incredible work in helping transform and change people’s lives for the better and hopefully this bike will also help them to continue to do the incredible work they do but also help inspire someone to head out and take on their own challenges and adventures on it“.
Win a Transition Patrol
Colorado Mountain Bike Association (COMBA) announces it has teamed up with Golden, CO, bike shop Pedal Pushers Cyclery to launch a sweepstakes giving riders a chance to win a Transition Patrol with a custom build and a slew of extras worth more than $8,000 to help fund the building of new mountain bike trails on Colorado’s Front Range.
The complete prize package includes a 2020 Transition Patrol (size large) equipped with a Shimano PRO cockpit, XT 12-speed drivetrain, four-piston XT brakes, DVO Diamond fork and Jade coil shock. The bike also comes pre-wrapped with a custom UPLND Stoke frame wrap kit.
In addition to the Transition Patrol, Fox Racing are including a complete gear kit. Trestle Bike Park will be covering entry fees to all 2021 races and providing a custom logo helmet. Over Yonder Brewing Company is contributing a $75 gift card to cover post-ride refreshment. It’s $10 for 10 entries.
“We’ve got some really exciting things in the works,” says COMBA Executive Director Gary Moore. “Currently, we’re involved in projects that include directional bike-only trails in both Idaho Springs and Black Hawk, CO. None of that comes cheap, so we’re hoping we can put a dent in our cost while hooking someone up with a really sweet ride.”
Colin Strickland’s Allied Able Charity Auction
Colin Strickland, a top US Pro Gravel racer and winner of the latest Unbound Gravel race, will be auctioning off a custom painted and curated limited edition Allied Able Gravel Bike in order to raise money for Wings for Life USA. The charity is committed to finding a cure for spinal cord injury.
The bike is valued at $9,000. The current bid sits at $12,000. This limited edition Allied Able Gravel Bike is kitted out with a Shimano GRX Di2 drivetrain, GRX brakes, an ENVE 3.4 AR wheelset, Specialized Pathfinder 38mm tires, Shimano XT pedals and an ENVE cockpit.
