If you’ve watched any of the big cycling races, then you’ve undoubted seen the Mavic Yellow Car. Since the early 70’s, yellow has meant neutral support with the Mavic logo leading the way. While the technology has certainly changed, the idea is the same and Mavic wants to give you a chance to experience it for yourself. By entering their Paris Roubaix contest, you’ll be up for a grand prize that includes travel to the “Hell of the North,” plus accommodations, dinner with the SSC crew, and a race day ride along in the Yellow Car. Something tells us that even in a car you’re going to feel the cobble stones juuust fine…

You have until March 9th, to enter, and must live in Europe, Canada, or the United States. Enter by following the link below.

I just checked the condition for the game. Mavic pays for the flight back from Roubaix to your home country, but not for the flight to go there. That’s pretty weird.

@Francois
They don’t care if you show up but they definitely want you to go home.

A return ticket is french/euro speak for a round-trip ticket. So as you would rightly expect, travel costs are paid to the race and then to return home.

In this day and age, no reputable contest should be asking for your birthday. That one is over 18 or falls in a particular marketing age group can be obtained without asking for information that can contribute to identity theft.

Attn Mavic Marketing & WebMaster: No combination of birth date and/or phone number are accepted by this entry form on your website. Tried numerous times and keeps saying that both of those fields are required – even though I tried repeatedly filling them in using the format requested by the site. Was anybody else able to actually enter the contest?

No problem at all. Make sure you tick the ‘accept the rules’ box, and untick the marketing one.
