Wolf Tooth GeoShift 2° Angle Headset adjusts head tube angles to the next degree

Got a bike that you love, but wish that head tube angle was a little different? Whether steeper or slacker, sometimes it’s good to have options. And now, with the latest headset option from Wolf Tooth Components, you can choose an even more aggressive angle if that’s your thing.

Taking the next logical step from their original GeoShift headset, the GeoShift 2° adds another degree to the equation. That means you can make your effective head tube angle +/-2° steeper or slacker. Like the original, the GeoShift headset actually tilts the bearing itself keeping it in line with the new angle of the steerer tube which WTC claims will result in a headset that won’t creak, bind, or have other issues typical with angle adjust headsets.

Upper assembly features:

• Ultralight Stem Cap With Integrated Spacer plus an aluminum bolt and a star nut
• O-ring seal prevents water intrusion around the steerer tube
• Custom-molded upper lip seal provides additional protection for the upper bearing
• Optional shim washers if needed

Lower assembly features:

• Custom-molded dual-lip seal on the crown race to protect the lower bearing in the toughest weather and trail conditions
• Service and additional parts available

Sold as an upper and lower headset cup in a set, the 2° GeoShift Performance Angle Headset will be offered in ZS44/28.6 Upper & ZS56/40 Lower,  ZS44/28.6 Upper & EC49/40 Lower, and ZS44/28.6 Upper & EC44/40 Lower. You’ll also need to choose the right headset for your headtube length with Short (90-114mm) or Long 115-140mm.

Steerer Tube Crown Race Adapter

Along with the GeoShift 2°, WTC is introducing a new line of crown race adapters to allow forks with smaller steerer tubes to use the GeoShift headsets. WTC added both a 1 1/8″ to 1 1/2″ and a 1 1/4″ to 1 1/2″ adapter. Both sell for $10.95 each.
