Kicking off this afternoon is X Games 16 for which ESPN will be broadcasting a total of 31 hours of live coverage, a comprehensive schedule for which can be found here.

The above video, shot by RideBMX.com, shows off just some of the warm up moves being knocked out by the likes of Dakota Roche, Brian Kachinski and Sean Sexton, as well as the closing banger from Dan Lacey who won Simpel Session’s best trick earlier this year. Going by these guys standards, the moves in the above flick are part of their ‘everyday’ bag of tricks, so it’ll be interesting to see who tops the podium this year. With the likes of Garret Reynolds and Scotty Cramner competing,  it’s too close to call an obvious winner, but my bet’s with Toronto Jam winner Drew Bezanson in the park and Dan Lacey on the street course…
