If you watched Red Bull Rampage last October, then you probably remember Adolf Silva’s horrifying and life-changing crash. While attempting a massive double backflip off a large step-down drop, Silva went down hard, fracturing ribs, his sternum, vertebrae, and injuring his spinal cord. Unfortunately, his injuries have left him with no sensation from the chest down, and since then, he has been adapting to life with a spinal cord injury.

Silva has been documenting his recovery process and life post-injury in his “Still Loco” YouTube series. From the hospital bed to physical therapy, question-and-answer sessions, and even his first time sit-skiing, Silva is showing viewers what it’s like to recover from and adapt to life with a spinal injury. As a high-performance athlete, it should come as no surprise that Silva has been exploring adaptive sports and is focused on regaining his independence, including adapting his vehicle for hand controls.
Custom SB140 Sweepstakes
To help support Silva’s recovery, Yeti is giving away this custom, one-of-a-kind SB140. It was designed with input from Silva himself, with a custom paint job inspired by his 2025 Rmapage bike. The build was also supported by donations from Fox, including the Factory fork, shock, and dropper post. Entries to the sweepstakes are $10 each, with all proceeds going directly to Silva to help with medical costs and other expenses as he continues his recovery. The entry window opens today, March 23, and closes on May 13, 2026.

If you told me five months ago, I would be doing everything I’m doing now, I wouldn’t believe it. Recovery has not been easy, and it isn’t close to done, but I am stoked to be slowly getting back to my life and regaining my independence. The love and support I have been getting the past few months is out of this world, and I really want to thank the community for this!
