Got this link from BIG (Bicycling In Greensboro) and is a great thing to show motorists.  If you’re involved with cycling advocacy in your area, show this to the city planners you work with to explain why bike lanes need to be wider than they’d think in urban areas with street-side parking.

Retweeted this – very useful post thanks Bike Rumor – will keep it in mind when discussing bike lane sizes not that in London we seem to be getting many new bike lanes
