NAHBS 2010 – In addition to the all-new ‘Day is Done’ road frame from Pegoretti, he had a huge display of his painting prowess spread across a collection of frames. This is a customer’s bike is a one-of-a-kind commissioned bike painted to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Giro d’Italia.

The frame is Pegoretti’s Responsorium.

Pegoretti’s headbadge is a cut metal design with etched logo and handprint icon.
This scratchy silver paint job uses rough ground mica to give it grip tape like texture.
Gita’s rep says this rough finish is used on road guards in Italy and is extremely durable, eliminating the need for a clear coat. If you tend to rub the top tube with your knees like I do, perhaps it’s not the best choice of finishes…but it looks and feels rad.
This silver finish was put on the Marcelo frame.
This Responsorium has the Chivete paint scheme. Most of Pegoretti’s “stock” paint schemes have no upcharge and are done with stencils then finished by brush and hand as necessary…very few if any decals are used on his frames.
