Feedback Sports showed off their new Sprint fork-mount bicycle work stand at Sea Otter.
Built atop their adjustable three-legged base and telescoping stand, the Sprint uses a wheel tray and fork mount to put your bike right at eye level. I’m 6’2″ and could put the bike so the drivetrain was high enough to work on easily without stooping. What looks like a double clamp on the main post serves as a quick release lock ring to keep the stand at a minimum height and opens to let the bike rotate.
The tray’s fork mount slides to adjust to your bike’s wheelbase with a deeper section to hold the rear tire in place, making it unlikely to slide off to either side. A twist lock on the bottom holds it in place once adjusted. The fork mount uses spacers to accommodate road and mountain bikes, QR and 15mm thru axle. A optional 20mm thru axle kit is available for about $15. Retail is $279 and it’ll be available in June.
The best part? It weighs only about 11lbs and folds down into that small black bag you see next to the table (on the ground). Jeff at Feedback says they brought it on the plane as a carryon and put it in the overhead with no questions asked.
All axles accommodated.
Makes for a very compact travel stand.
