FrostBike 2013: Kind Shock Announces Aftermarket LEV Integra Dropper Post Sales

As more and more frame makers build internally routed dropper post compatibility into their bikes for 2013/2014, the need for compatible posts is obviously increasing. Seeing the demand for internally routed posts, Kind Shock has decided to offer their LEV Integra dropper post for sale to the aftermarket, rather than just offering it to OEMs. Price is yet to be set for the post, but it will be offered in 30.9 and 31.6mm sizes in both 125 and 150mm of travel.

We get the Integra on the scale after the jump.

This 30.9/125mm post comes in a 465g without the cable and remote which is right in the mix with the various offerings out there currently.

Thanks to the LEV Integra’s easy cable routing, installing it on your bike will be super easy. KS seatposts utilize a 4mm shift cable, which are available in remote shifter kits as well as various color kits and matching seatpost clamps if you are so inclined.

Kind Shock needs to start offering replacement parts for their seat posts. They want $85 for a rebuild when the posts are around $130 wholesale to QBP.

@ norcom, When you buy a component like a dropper post, disc brake, suspension fork and shock. There will always be maintenance fees associated with that product. A large portion of the 85 dollar rebuild is labor dollars. Assembly of a new product is always easier than taking a used product apart to service it. Mountain biking is not cheap when you need all the bells and whistles.
