We’ll start the weekend off with 19 unicyclists in Moab, because, why not? Able to ride on one wheel what many would struggle to do on two, the GoPro video put together by John LeSage and 18 of his buddies almost makes us want to pick up a mountain unicycle. Almost.
All right, it’s official. You can do anything on a fat bike so long as you have the talent. Normally found on a 20″ trials bike, internationally ranked and current Guinness World record holder for the highest bunny hop Rick Koekoek shows off some trials skills on his Specialized fat bike.
Hat tip to Dave Campbell.
As for that bunny hop? It was an insane 143 cm hop!
As the official trailer for Above Below, the BMX film from Monster Energy and Dig BMX looks good. Really good.
Releasing to the world this December on ITunes, here we have the first trailer and real insight in to the first full length BMX feature from Monster Energy in association with DIG BMX, ABOVE BELOW.
In ABOVE you take a trip across the globe with Ben Lewis, Dakota Roche, Fernando Laczko, Ed Zunda, Nathan Williams and Dan Lacey, 6 Monster Energy BMX rider’s pushing the limits of progression from Cape Town to New York and Tokyo to Berlin.
BELOW then shows you what it takes and the hurdles to overcome. From Security and Injury to frustrations and mind games.
If you haven’t checked it out already, the recent TAXCO Urban DH race offered riders another chance to rip down the streets of Mexico, down narrow alleys, and steep staircases. Pivot’s Bernard Kerr managed to take home a 5th place and captured it all on his Replay XD.
