A few weeks back, we showed you some up close teaser images of Mason Cycle’s upcoming road bikes, and now we’ve got the first look at the complete bike studio shots from Julian Ward.
The blue bike is the Resolution Columbus steel frame, and the black bike is Definition Dedacciai aluminium. Both are shown with the Shimano 105 build with hydraulic disc brakes. Other options include 105/TRP Spyre Mechanical, Ultegra Hydro/Mechanical, and Ultegra Di2/Hydro. A DuraAce Di2/Hydro build is available as a special order.
Check out other build details and closeups…
From Dom Mason: “We are using the excellent Fabric saddles and bar tape and Deda bars, headset and stem. Post and clamp are Mason and wheels are the Hunt x Mason items. Tyres are Conti.”
The full story on the brand is in our first post, but the short of it is this: The brand was launched by Dominic Mason, who had designed frames for Kinesis for many years. Frames are designed in-house in their UK offices, then hand made and painted in Italy.
There’s a lot of shaping (and interesting shapes) considering the frames are aluminum and steel.
The tubeless ready hoops are a custom build from fellow upstart Hunt Bike Wheels, check those out here.
