Launched at Interbike last year and now the official heads up display of USA Cycling’s Olympic contenders, the Solos micro display and sunglasses combo is now in production and on Kickstarter to let you get one for half off.
Suggested retail will be $500, but the crowdfunding campaign will let you nab one for as little as $250 if you act fast. As of this post, about half of the units available at that price are gone, and they’re halfway to meeting their goal just hours after going live. Check the video and more below…
The unit puts metrics directly in your line of sight with the smallest available display, and also sends all ride data to their app for a post-ride analysis with much more detail. That can also be shared directly with Training Peaks, Strave and MapMyRide.
In addition to performance data, it’ll show things like navigation, too, making it useful for commuters, too.
Hit up the Kickstarter campaign here for tons more screenshots and images. Supporters should get their Solos in September 2016.
