Here’s an accessory you won’t find in your local bike shop: Lansinoh lanolin lotion. While it’s great for chapped nipples, we’ve also found it’s great to use on dry cracked hands. Keeps hands soft after an afternoon of bike wrenching and hours of cleaning your muddy ‘cross bike. It also makes a great conversation starter when spotted in your tool box. It stays on through several handwashings and it’s not greasy or slippery like most lotions so you can get a good grip on your tools.
