Dickeyville, Wisconsin’s iconic, American-made bike rack manufacturer, 1UP USA has announced some new ways to solve your storage needs. One of the things that make 1UP USA so unique is the modularity of its products, making modifying and adding additional trays simple.

That modularity extends to 1UP’s storage systems as well, allowing the user to modify and adjust the system to meet their exact needs. I’ve personally used their Rack Stash before, and it’s a simple and neat way to store your hitch rack when not on your vehicle.

Let’s take a look at what 1UP is calling its “smartest storage solutions” with some new additions to the Rack Stash line…

1UP RS Slide

The RS Slide is available in two different configurations, just the “Slide” or the “Slide + Wall Mount Assembly. It looks like a sensible, practical way to free up space in tight areas. The two different options will make it easy to hang your bikes out of the way of the day-to-day activities that happen in any given storage area.

Another bicycling company selling Unistrut at a ridiculous mark up. The rack storage looks quite nice.

I really hope that they paid the inventor of the “bike curtain”, Joy of Bike (https://youtu.be/_deob4L4AEY) and not just copied it blatantly.
It’s a fantastic design btw, I have been using mine over a year now.

Both of these just look like powder coated 1 5/8” Unistrut and some trolley wheels with j hooks attached. I could build this for probably less than $100. There’s another company out of the UK that also makes this same scam.

The 1UP product is Unistrut. No sense in redesigning something that already works, right? You can definitely DIY this for around $100, but for those folks that don’t want to figure out all the parts and just want a product that’s ready to install, 1UP offers the base unit for $189. That seems pretty reasonable!
