Tour of Italy (aka: Giro d’Italia) race director Angelo Zomegnan, in almost a throw away quote, said he’s in talks with NBC to televise the centennial running of the Giro.
While everyone was busy publishing the same AP release saying how Italy is rolling out the Red Carpet for Lance Armstrong to compete in the Giro, Cycling Examiner James Raia put up a good idea:  NBC should hire Greg Lemond to commentate.
