2009 brings VooDoo Cycles into their 15th year of business. Originally starting in San Jose, California VooDoo is now designed and developed in Flagstaff, AZ by Mountain Bike Hall of Fame legend Joe Murray. For 2009 VooDoo has updated the colors of the Aizan 29’er hardtail, Canzo 29’er full suspension, Bondye scandium road, and introduces a dirt-drop specific “Monster ‘Cross'” bike called Nakisi (prototype shown above) which translated means ‘sacred medicine’ in Voodoo language.
Voodoo is known for its premium cross-country race bikes such as the classic steel Bizango, the titanium D-Jab, and the superlight Sobo scandium/carbon frame. Voodoo helped pioneer the 29er scene with the ultralight Aizan Scandium frame, the titanium Zaka, the steel Dambala and the popular 4-inch travel Canzo29. Voodoo also makes a lightweight 26†full suspension trail bike, the 5-inch travel Canzo26. Also worth checking out are Voodoo’s sweet cross bikes and road bikes.
