First up from the North American Handmade Bicycle Show is a collection of photos from the “fixie” category.  At the risk of insulting your street cred, that’s slang for “Fixed Gear.”  In the infamous words of Biggee Smalls, if you don’t know, now you know.
Check out the sweet wood brake levers on this one, although I thought true fixies didn’t need brakes…hmmm.

Looks like another wood lever, this time accompanying a wood handlebar.  Note the wingnut rear wheel release.  Unfortunately, the show’s photo feed doesn’t include notes on brands or builders for every pic…if you know, leave a comment and I’ll update the post.
Fixie on the left, internal geared bike on the right, both from DeSalvo.  Wood fenders give it a very classic look, Ergon grips make it comfy.
Nothing like some cyclocross tires to give your fixie new utility….right?  Shamrock Cycles folks must be true gluttons for punishment.
The Speedvagen from Vanilla has a ridiculously smooth finish, almost looks like a carbon framed track bike.
This swoopy beauty is showing off Cane Creek components…even the seatpost carries the curve of the frame.
…and then there’s this.  I almost spit out my drink when I saw this one from Cherubim…a fixy with 12″ (?) HED carbon dish wheels? Nice.
This Bamboo Bicycle, likely from Calfee showed a unique design sans-seat tube.
