2010 RockShox boxxer world cup race downhill suspension fork

FROM SRAM: In the past 24 hours, there has been some misinformation spreading thru the internet.

In what looks to be an attempt at April Fool’s humor, someone created a false recall notice for the 2010 RockShox BoXXer suspension fork. This is not the case; there is no recall on the 2010 BoXXer.

There are some less than obvious signs that this was a hoax. Both the date and location are wrong. March 32? There is no such date. Boulder, CO…SRAM LLC does not have a Boulder, Colorado location.

We have a sense of humor. In fact, we’ve done our share of April Fools releases in the past. Truth is, there is nothing funny about confusing people about product quality. The 2010 RockShox BoXXer successfully went into production in March, and is currently shipping to customers around the globe.

EDITOR’S NOTE: In January, there was a recall of RockShox Domain MTB suspension forks.
