2010-fuji-mountainbike-dsr10-2Fuji has leaked a few pics of their 2010 DSR (full suspension, above) and crazy light SLM (hardtail, shown after the break) mountain bikes on their MTB team blog, and they are a good lookin’ couple.

The DSR (Dual Suspension Race) is designed with enduro cross country racing in mind and  gets Reynold’s carbon wheels, a full XTR drivetrain and Fox shock and fork mounted to a 4″ travel carbon frame that uses a modified Specialized four-bar linkage.  This is Fuji’s first official OEM use of Fox suspension, they’ve been loyal to Rockshox in the past.  The fork is mated to a 1-1/8″ to 1-1/2″ tapered headtube, and the pre-production bike is said to weigh under 24 lbs as shown.  No word on MSRP yet for this model, but they will also have an XT/SLX spec with Mavic wheels for those feeling the brunt of this “recession.”

2010-fuji-mountainbike-slmltd-2The SLM model is only a year old, but that didn’t stop them from putting it on a diet.  This 2010 SLM 1.0 model, due in part to the SRAM XX spec, drops 1.5lbs from last (this) year’s team race bikes, and it gets a couple of frame changes.  First, it uses an integrated seatmast.  What’s that?  You don’t like those?  No problem, just cut it down, intentionally or accidentally, slip a collar on it and use any 31.6 seat post you like.

The second big change is they added some extra clearance for the back tire.  This model, spec’d with Reynold’s carbon wheels, the Rockshox SID XX w/ remote XX lockout will retail (unofficially) for about $8,000 USD.  The 19.03lb weight is for a 19″ complete bike with uncut seatmast.  They’ll also have an XO equipped model using the same frame for about $6,000.

Full specs and official pricing will be up on Fujibikes.com sometime soon.
