One of the kind folks from SBS (Seattle Bike Supply) sent over some photos of a bike we missed at Sea Otter, the 2011 Redline Conquest and Conquest Pro cyclocross bikes.
Maybe it’s the fact that the U.S. will be getting its first-ever world championship event…well, mainstream world championships anyway, we’ve had the SSCXWC events…but it seems more and more ‘cross stuff is coming out and product announcements and introductions are being littered throughout the year.
Above is the Conquest Pro. Full specs (as provided, copied and pasted from SBS), pricing and photos of its little bro are behind the jump…
Redline Conquest Pro:
The 2011 Conquest Pro upgrades to Mavic Ksyrium Aksium wheelset, Schwalbe racing Ralph tires, white Kore brakes with adjusters and an integrated headset. The bike retains the FSA Gossamer 46 x 36t crankset, SRAM Rival deraillers and Selle Italia saddle. The MSRP for the 2011 Conquest Pro stays right around $2000.00.
Redline Conquest:
The New Redline Conquest will feature a new carbon fiber fork, Kore brakes with adjusters, and Kore gradient wheels. The bike will retain the FSA 46 x 36t crank gearing with Shimano Tiagra shifters, 105 rear derailleur, and the new Kenda small block tires. All of these upgrades and the 2011 Redline conquest will keep the MSRP right around $1300.00.
These new bikes will be ready for the upcoming ‘Cross season at the end of July in your local bike shop. For some reason, particularly odd because SBS doesn’t appear to distribute Kore, they sent over two close-ups of their adjustable white canti brakes, which I’ve included here for your viewing pleasure.
