We like collaborations. The talents of two parties usually end up cuddled together in a hot, steamy swirl of awesome. Or at least cool.

In this case, the ENVE logo on the last rear swingarm in the row here suggests Santa Cruz is up to something. The lack of any real information on their blog pretty much confirms it. In the past, they’ve used M-to-the-F’s ramblings to tease eventual production bikes, so our guess is these parts here are likely destined to put a hurtin’ on your wallet in the not too distant future. Judging by the swooping shape at the front and the fact that their “carbon” V-10 downhill bike still has an alloy rear triangle, we’re putting our money there. The fact that they’re testing with their Syndicate Team, which tends to love gravity, lends credence to our suspicion. Other than all that, we got nuthin’.

They are not made by Enve at all – Enve sponsors the Syndicate team with rims, and that rear end is painted in team garb. I feel you guys getting a little loose with your assumptions lately…..
