MRP 2X dual ring 2x10 chainguide with removable bash guard

MRP has two new chainguide / bashguards – one for the XC weight weenie segment and the single ring gravity group.

Above is the new 2X. If you recall SRAM/Truvativ’s new X-Glide chainguide with the dual pulley wheels on the lower guide, this is similar. Where MRP differentiates it is with the removable bashguard and additional mounting options.

They also had the White Brothers forks in their booth, which are darn near production and should be shipping soon. Skip through to see it all…

The bashguard is pretty small and unbolts if you wanna shave about 40g from the system. The “fin” sits almost even with the small chainrings teeth, which should catch the chain if it shifts off the rings to the inside, preventing frame damage.

MRP S4 bash guard and single ring chainguide

The S4 has a lightweight bash ring that’s honeycombed out on the inside to shave grams. The rollers have been redesigned to be quieter, too.

White Brothers Loop suspension fork almost ready for production

Spec-wise, there’s nothing new to report on the White Brothers’ Loop forks from what we saw at Sea Otter other than the 29er size is now available, too.

The Loop’s thru axle has tapered sections on both the axle and the threaded end to secure it snugly within the dropouts as well as keep the hub in place.

ISCG-05 weight listed as 130 and 144 grams. I’m assuming that’s the difference between skid and no skid?
