Rubena mountain bike tires are now available in the USA coming from the Czech Republic

Rubena mountain bike tires are now available in the USA coming from the Czech Republic. They’re available in a few tread patterns with single and dual compound rubber. They’ve also got a range of commuter and urban tires, this pic is only a small sampling. We’ve been riding the ones in the background on a Titus 29er in on review and so far, so good.

Blackburn Scorch and Flea commuter bike lights

Blackburn had two new commuter lights, the Scorch ($69.99, 140 lumen output) and Super Flea ($44.99, 105 lumen output). Both use Cree XP-G LED bulbs and are USB rechargeable.

Blackburn solar power commuter bicycle light recharger

The Flea USB + Solar Charger kit includes both a USB charger and this solar panel. It can charge their Flea light in about 5-6 hours of direct sunlight. Their rep said it’s probably not strong enough to charge an iPhone or iPad, but it could trickle charge most cycling computers (theirs, Garmin, etc.). $14.99.

BMC Mass Challenge high end belt drive single speed commuter bicycle for Cadel Evans

How do you get Tour de France winner Cadel Evans to ride a belt drive commuter bike? You build up this insanely sick, blacked out, disc brake, Easton carbon fiber cockpitted BMC MassChallenge MC01. You don’t want to know the price, it’s a lot, but it’s very light and very awesome in person.

It’s also geared very steep because, well, it’s designed for Cadel. Want.
