ILE Expands Photo Bag Line with MKII & Prime, adds Seat bag & Phone Holster

Last April, we told you about Inside Line Equipment’s Ultimate Photographers Bag.  Eric at ILEcollaborated with Prolly is not Probably’s John Watson to create one of the coolest photo bags I have seen.  Well, Eric hit the drawing board again, and has since produced two new versions of the bag.The Ultimate Photographers Bag now comes in Original flavor, a MKII variant, and the all new Prime.  The MKII features a zippered pocket sized to fit a 15” MacBook Pro, two front pockets sized to hold water bottles, and a roll top to keep your gear dry.

As with the original, the bottom compartment is where you stash the photo gear, and this one is larger.  You can fit multiple body, lenses, and a flash in there, and then some.  The compartment is configurable as well, so you can set it up however is best for your specific gear.  If that wasn’t sweet enough, the bag is made with military spec MOLLE webbing on the sides to hold modular accessories.  Tripods and light stands easily strap into the side pockets too.  Parting with $340 makes this MKII your very own.

To compliment the other two photo bags, ILE is now producing the Prime.  The Prime is a very similar setup to the original, just in a smaller size.  The camera compartment is the same as on the larger bags, but the top compartment is a bit smaller.  This makes the bag suited well as a carry on, and it’s more maneuverable for hiking and biking.  The Prime is also available in a MOLLE equipped variant as well.  This downsized Prime runs $320.

Along with the updated bags, ILE is now producing two new accessories in the form of a phone holster and seat bag.  The phone holster attaches to any ILE or other bag for quick access to your phone.  The holster is not limited to just the iPhone either.  Other phones, as well as some point and shoots will fit, since the holster is made with elastic sides that can accommodate a wide range of devices.  The holster is constructed out of military spec 500D Corduar nylon, Velcro, and elastic.  Cost is set at $40.

The ILE seat bag, as you probably guessed, is also made out of the same super tough Cordura Nylon.  The bag is designed in standard fashion, and attaches under the seat.  This is one for the minimalist though.  Expect to fit a CO2 inflator, multi-tool, tire lever, and tube.  Custom colors are available so you can be all matchy matchy.  The ILE seat bag runs $40.
