More like they fixed the DHR to better live up to its intended use as a DH Rear specific tire. People will still be running DHF in the front.

People were using DHF (DH Front specific intended use) or High Roller (Downhill version) for the rear, instead of the DHR. This has DHF style side knobs, spaced out a bit more, and features for improving braking and acceleration. This should make it a better option that the DHF for the rear, technically.
