Hey Southeast, looking for your chance to demo the 2013 bikes and gear on home trails for a change? Us, too, and thankfully the SE Bike Expo will return next year in late February with demos for road and mountain bikes at the Conyers, GA, International Horse Park. Yep, the very same trails as the first Olympic mountain bike races. Details after the break.

PRESS RELEASE: The Southeast Bike Expo has released the dates for the 2013 expo February 22nd-24th.

The Southeast Bike Expo donated $3300 to IMBA/SORBA this year and will partner with them again for 2013.

Saturday and Sunday February 23rd-24th will be open to the general public. There were over 1000 attendees this year. The 2012 edition had over 600 bikes for demo and 70 vendors. This year with the addition of other major bike brands there could be more than 1,000 demo bikes to ride.

Friday February 22nd will be a free dealer only day. This will give vendors time to meet with potential customers in the Southeast.

In addition to having bikes to demo there will also be other industry vendors showing off all kinds of products. Companies like Tifosi Optics, Light & Motion, Camelbak, Shimano, Kenda, and Thomson.

Our goal is to put on a fun event in a great location for very low cost to manufacturers, retailers, and consumers. This year we have added a metric century on Saturday February 23rd.

We will be returning to The Georgia International Horse Park in Conyers Georgia for our second year. But we will be moving the location to the Grand Prix Plaza. This gives us the opportunity to have a more secure expo area that is enclosed by fence. There is a 1.5 mile road bike test loop as well. We still get to use onsite world class MTB trails as the GIHP is the location of the 1996 MTB Olympics. This unique outdoor demo area has space for over 1000 vendors, and is more consumer friendly.

The Southeast Bike Expo will take place February 22nd-24th 2013. Purchase advance tickets at BikeReg.com. Manufacturers looking to can email them or register online.
