2013 De Rosa Road Bike Campagnolo Athena Merak

We got some closeups last month of Campagnolo’s Athena EPS groupset and tech. It’s debuting first – we think – on a 2013 build by De Rosa.

Shown above is the Merak Athena EPS with the 11-speed Athena EPS groupset. A carbon frame gets a – now pretty standard – oversized bb and headtube and an aero seat tube. It rolls on Fulcrum Racing Quattros, and the cockpit is a 3T Ergosum Pro bar with Arx Pro stem. Pricing is £4,299.99. De Rosa’s offering a couple models with mechanical groups, after the break, that are compatible with electronic groups if you’re feeling later upgrades…

2013 De Rosa Road Bike Campagnolo Athena R838

The De Rosa R838 Athena gets the mechanical version of the Athena groupset, and comes ready for both internal electronic and mechanical routing. It’s set up with an FSA cockpit with a Selle Italia SLR saddle and a Fulcrum Racing 5 wheelset. Sizing is 43,45, 48,50, and 53cm. Pricing is £2,799.99.

2013 De Rosa Road Bike Campagnolo Athena R838 Veloce

The De Rosa R838 Veloce gets Campy’s Veloce groupset, with an FSA cockpit and Selle Italia SLR Saddle. Sizing is the same as the R838 Athena and it’s compatible with both mechanical and electronic cables too. Pricing is £2,099.99.
