2013 Marin Cortina disc brake cyclocross bike

A little birdy just pointed us to some sneak peek images of Marin’s 2013 highlights. Spec details are a bit light, but some upgrades and new features are obvious.

The Cortina cyclocross bike gets updated for disc brakes. It’ll get Avid mechanicals with a full SRAM drivetrain…including a blue logo-matched X0 rear derailleur on the otherwise road setup. A Ritchey cockpit and Prologo saddle round out the spec. Wheels are WTB Frequency i9 mountain bike wheels, which means they’re tubeless ready, wrapped with Clement PDX tires. If the price sticks at $1,899, it’s going to be very compelling. The frame has all cables running under the downtube, and the rear brake uses continuous housing. That makes it completely ready for hydraulic stoppers as they come online.

Mountain and road bikes after the break…

2013 Marin Stelvio Ultegra Di2 road bike

The Stelvio road bikes switch from an all-SRAM drivetrain lineup to Shimano, with an Ultegra Di2 model in the middle of the three-bike spread. Visible changes are a new, straighter fork.

2013 Marin Rift Zone 29er Pro

While the pic we’ve got is of an alloy model, the Rift Zone XC 29er full suspension mountain bikes get a new carbon fiber Pro model at the top end. Travel sticks at 100mm. The Rift Zone line goes from two mid-level models to four, with a third alloy model slotted in just under the Pro.

2013 Marin Mount Vision XM Pro full suspension mountain bike

The 140mm travel Mount Vision XM follows suit with a four bike line up, the top model going carbon fiber, too (alloy shown here). All but the lowest model add a dropper seatpost and the carbon Pro gets a SRAM drivetrain with their new X0 Type 2 rear derailleur. The two middle models get XT Shadow Plus.

More as we get it…
