The Evolution Jacket might be their most intriguing new offering. Featuring full torso and shoulder protection with removable padding, the jacket includes a rear compartment for a hydration pack. While the sleeves do not appear to have any sort of hose clip, this might be a very attractive option for minimalists who want to shed the bulk and outboard weight of a backpack; two rear side mesh pockets could work for a multitool and tube. The reservoir pocket could potentially be ideal for ice bags or other products to regulate your temperature in extreme conditions to take advantage of the performance benefits of reducing your skin temperature.
The second generation of their Alps Knee Guard and Drop Jersey & Shorts are being reshuffled into the enduro deck. No word yet on pricing, check out the Alpinstars website after Eurobike wraps up.
