Even though it’s quite a departure from the iconic riveted leather saddles that Brooks is known for, their Cambium line has been quite a hit. Using a vulcanized rubber base with an organic cotton covering, the saddles still manage to stay true to the Brooks aesthetic while offering modern performance. Now adding even more options to the line up, that latest Cambium ships with a gaping hole in the middle…

Of course, the biggest change to the Cambium C15 Carved is the addition of a center cut out. Otherwise the saddle will provide the same durable and comfortable ride of the other Cambium models. Combined with the die cast aluminum support structure and vulcanized rubber shell the saddle offers a vibration damping ride and allows the shell to flex while still supporting the rider.

Listed at 395g in weight, the saddle measures 283mm long x 140mm wide and is made in Italy. Available in black with black rubber or slate with natural rubber, the C15 Carved sells for € 150.00 or roughly $167.

Organic cotton covering? How in the world can it be of any value whatsoever, except for grating your expensive shorts?
