They’ve already made SRAM & Cannondale direct mount rings, and now Shimano riders can take advantage of Wolf Tooth Components’ Drop Stop narrow wide chainrings for their road, gravel or cyclocross bikes.
The design matches Shimano’s asymmetric 110bcd used on Dura-Ace, Ultegra, 105 and Tiagra cranksets. The rings come in even increments from 38 to 44 teeth, and the offset is optimized for a 44mm chainline when mounted in the outside position of the crank spider’s tabs.
Like the rest of their 7075-T6 alloy chainrings, they’re designed and machined in house in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Close pic and pricing below…
The 110bcd asymmetric rings retail for $78.85 and will come in eight colors. They’re available now in black in 38, 40, and 42 tooth counts, the 44t is coming November 13. Colors will follow shortly thereafter, too.
They’ve also got the matching 6mm bolt kits available to make single-ring conversions quick and easy.
