Hangover

This is one of those that will have you leaning in your office chair and wincing like someone is about to run into you from the side. Regardless, try and not let your vertigo put you on the floor while watching these two nut jobs super talented riders own Hangover Trail in Sedona, AZ…..

These guys have some TIGHT handling skills and no fear. Simply badass.

Looks like Oval ring would be of great help on those short bursts up.
Great trail!

I personally quite like the Oval rings, I find they work extraordinarily well. However that was the most shameless plug I have seen in quite some time.

Holy blatant promotion Batman. Good grief, that is lame.

I don’t think this was a “shameless plug”. A plug maybe but it seemed genuine to me. It actually got me thinking that it might be nice to have a little bit more explosiveness on the short climbs for racing. It was funny to watch 5 people join on the bandwagon of telling absolute black their comment was a ” plug”. Plug plug plug, don’t wear out your word of the day folks.

Too hairy for me. Had a bad crash on a narrow trail like that.

@absoluteblack — you do realize that such shameless marketing plugs like that can actually turn people OFF on your product? give it a rest once in awhile

Agreed. Isn’t it enough that they have consistent adds on this site and others?

Apparently they feel the need to SPAM completely unrelated posts too.

Bad form Absolute Black.

Yes they are killing it on that trail! I’ve rode this one a number of times and it’s tough to flow like these boys. The short ups are steeper and tougher than they look, the trail is tighter and more awkward than it looks too. These guys are pros and it shows!

That’s pretty sick. It doesn’t look like they’re “killin'” it in the Northern California/North Shore sense of the word, but you can see that some serious skills are being demonstrated, mostly in the form of nuanced weight shifting and expert line choices.

Kudos to these riders.

I’m impressed by how steady the footage is!

The rider is using a camera stabilizer. Probably something like this:

There are several brands out, but they make a HUGE improvement in riding footage quality.
