Often on the last grueling climb of the day, you say to yourself, “the harder I push, the better that beer is gonna taste”. Trail head or “half-way” beers with friends isn’t as good as the ride… it’s part of it! Transition Bikes took it a step further and partnered up with a local brewery down the street and came up with their own special brew!

Transition Bikes has has never stopped having fun and what better way to celebrate that than to have your own special beer? Transition hooked up with local brewery Kulshan Brewing Co. and brewed up some custom micro batches of their PNW (Party iN the Woods) IPA which can be bought anywhere Kulshan beer is sold.

Got any of these laying around? I obviously do and other than storing a few small parts in a couple, most are just piled up in a drawer in my garage. They’re too nice to toss out, I have no plans on making a dress out of them, so what to do? Well reader of the Rumor, Corbin Griffing of Boulder came up with a genius yet simple solution.
He took one of many of his Thomson seatpost bags, cut the seam, added an insulated liner, and sewed a zipper on for easy access. He even sewed on an old toe-strap so he could hang it on a backpack. He said he’s even playing around with a single version with a water bottle mount.
