Ellsworth Rogue sixty enduro mountain bike 2017 160mm-11

Have your eye on that new Ellsworth Rogue Sixty? Ellsworth just announced a program that will make it easier than ever to upgrade. Through a partnership with Bicycle Blue Book, getting money for your current ride is as easy as walking into an Ellsworth dealer with your current bike. Based on the trade-in value determined by the BBB Scorecard, you’ll be given immediate store credit towards the purchase of a new Ellsworth.

Finally, a way to move those aging 26″ bikes in the garage (kidding, sort of)…

BBB trade in program

Curious what your bike is worth? You can head right over to Bicycle Bluebook to get an idea. Trade in values seem to actually be pretty reasonable – I could expect somewhere around $2k for my almost 6 year old 26″ carbon Trek Fuel Ex! Anyone want to buy a Fuel EX 9.8?

I like the original thinking going on here. While buying an Ellsworth has never appealed to me, it would be good to see the brand gain it’s strength from its earlier years.

Heads up..trade in credit for that EX would be more like 1200. The problem here is the prices you see on the consumer bicyclebluebook.com website is prices of what you could expect to resale your bicycle on your own. Like any other trade in service, the credit is considerably less then the amount the product will eventually be resold for. Make sure you go into a authorized bicyclebluebook/Ellsworth dealer who can give you actual trade in credits.
