November bicycles carbon disc tubeless wheel

Are you starting to think about cyclocross season? So is November Bicycles. Adding yet another option to the tubeless road market, November is showing off their all new Range. The carbon wheelset uses a deep section rim with a fairly wide internal width, a disc specific design, and tubeless capability at an impressive price…

November envisions their range to be used from road to gravel applications, so they went with a 20mm internal rim width that they feel is the perfect middle ground. Overall, the rim measures 27mm wide by 45mm deep and uses an offset spoke bed on the rim to obtain more balanced spoke tension. The wheel build also makes up for the additional stress of disc brakes with Sapim Sprint spokes on the front brake side and rear drive side while the other half is built with lighter Sapim CX-Ray spokes and 24 spokes per wheel.

The carbon fiber rims are tubeless compatible and will ship with tubeless tape already installed (60mm tubeless valves can be purchased along with the wheels). Limited to rider weights of 225 lbs (102kg), the wheels are available for preorder starting at $1385 with White Industries Centerlock hubs, but can be upgraded to Chris King Centerlock or ISO hubs for an additional fee. If you order now, the wheels should be shipping by late August – just in time for cross.

I hate to be this guy but if they can’t line up their logos what can we reasonably expect from them?

P.S.: I love to be that guy.

Seeing that the stem hole is directly opposite the logo, making the adjustment on where to look to find the stem hole is even easier than converting from centimeters to millimeters. I have faith that humanity can solve this non-problem.

It’s attention to detail though, isn’t it? I agree with Alex, it takes seconds to get it right, makes you wonder if they’ll go “err, this one doesn’t look great, but it’ll do”.

And sometimes you’ve put a dozen tires on and off to test fit, you’re scrambling to make a ride, and you see a photo you’d like to take. Of course if you’d rather we didn’t test the rims as we have, or all the tires that we have, and just put stickers on some rims we found, but had those labels lined up just so, well – we’re not going to do that.

Going to chime in as a November fan: handbuilt wheels built in the USA using high-quality components at very reasonable prices. White Industries hubs are hard to fault: mine (built by November to Pacenti disc rims) just spin and spin and spin. The wheels aren’t China cheap- but closer to that than most mainline brands. Spend some time on their blog and going with them is an easy choice.

These guys are legit!! If you are in the market for wheels, you can’t go wrong with any of their offerings!

As two-time owner of November wheels, I’m a huge fan, both of their wheels and of their service. Both sets have been nothing but bombproof for me.
