After a few decades’ hiatus from the helmet market, Brooks England is back with two classic looking lids to protect the road and commuter cyclist.
Fully modernized with polycarbonate shells, Exact Fit retention mechanism and streamlined shapes, the helmets fit the brand’s classic aesthetic, too. For roadies, the Harrier places four large cooling channels plus rear vents to keep you cool on longer rides. The Island is designed for more upright, casual cycling with single large front and rear vents. Both are available only through Triboom, a beta-release style site for Brooks customers that want to help shape the future of the brand’s accessories…
The Harrier is selling for $200 (£160), available in both CE and CPSC rated versions.
The Island is going for $150 (£120), also prepped for sale in Europe (CE) and North America (CPSC). These prices are £10 higher than anticipated retail, but these are pre-release special editions on Triboom that’ll ship before the holidays (and before anyone else can get their hands on them). Or stay tuned to Brooks’ social media channels for a proper release sometime next year.
