To celebrate our U.S. National Park Service turning 100 this year, Yakima has given their Showcase a special graphic treatment. The limited edition Centennial Showcase features artwork from Oregon artist Adam Haynes, who designed the unique wrap-around image of iconic national parks, including Crater Lake, Redwood National and State Parks, Mount Rainier, Yosemite, Glacier, Joshua Tree, Everglades, Arches and Great Smoky Mountains.
Only 10 are being produced, and you can only get one by playing along with Yakima’s social media contests. The first one kicked off on August 24th and runs through Sept. 9th. It’s called the Centennial Contest, and all you need to do is to post a photo from any national park (old photos work just fine, or pop a new one while you visit any of our treasured natural resources) to any social media and tag it with #YakimaNPContest and follow @yakima. In addition to the promotions, Yakima has partnered with various non-profits to help preserve the outdoors and promote ways to play outdoors. More pics of the Showcase below…
Each days photos are entered into the contest, and one daily winner will be chosen to win a signed piece of artwork showing part of the mural.
