Photo submitted by Duke Shea, “My Lauf Grit equipped Giant TCX taking a break after a little pre-run of Rebecca’s Private Idaho course and some awesome single track. The Wood River Trail runs right through Ketchum & about 20 miles further south. The race and town support are second to none. I’ll be back for sure!”

Bonus points for Lauf!

The Wood River Valley has some of the most awesome riding found anywhere. Extensive system of paths both north and south of Ketchum. One of my favorite training rides is Eagle Creek, about 6 miles north or Ketchum. About 10 miles round trip with 900 ft vertical to climb in the first 5 miles. Not too technical with a mix of double and single track. A fun 5 mile descent awaits after working your way to the top. For those looking for more of a challenge, check out Rebecca’s Private Idaho Gravel Race, as mentioned above.
