hidemybell integrated bicycle bell and out front garmin cycling computer mount

Almost a year ago, HideMyBell debuted their combo bike bell and Garmin mount unit, putting the dinger in an almost invisible spot of typically unused space. Now, they’ve made it even better by adding compatibility for almost every major cycling computer brand and giving you the option of mounting your action cam or headlight underneath.

Adding to the versatility, you can micro adjust the angle of the computer to ensure it’s pointing perfectly straight forward, and you can even tweak the distance from the bar to the computer for some models.

The mount is made in The Netherlands of a tough polymer and weighs in at a combined total of 62g with computer adapter installed. It’s designed for 31.8mm handlebar clamp diameters and uses a hidden stainless steel bolt to fasten it to the bar. Choose the mount you need for any of the following computer brands and models:

Garmin type
– Garmin Edge 20, 25, 200, 500, 510, 520, 800, 810, 820, 1000 and Touring
– Wahoo Rflkt / Rflkt +
– Sigma ROX GPS 7.0 and ROX GPS 11.0
– 3T Eye
– O_synce CoachSmart

Mio / Magellan type
-Cyclo series: except the old Mio Cyclo 305 with the large cover

Polar type
– M450 & V650

Wahoo type
– ELEMNT

Bryton type (new)
– Rider 100, 310, 330, 530

Bryton type (old)
– Rider 20, 30, 35, 40, 60

The mount for action cameras and lights is sold separately for €8 if ordered with the mount, €13 if bought separately. It will work with anything that uses a standard GoPro-style mount, including but not limited to GoPro, Shimano’s camera, Garmin VIRB, and lights from Sigma and Light & Motion, among others. It comes with one computer mount of your choice, alternates are available for €15 and can be swapped in easily.

It’s available in five colors (black, white, red, blue, green) for €35.

ymmv but I’ve been reading about people losing their GPS signal when their GoPro is too close to their Garmin. I have two versions of the virb and have not experienced this phenomenon.

My OCD won’t allow me to get past the upside-down GARMIN logo in the photo.

Remember the days when the Apple logos on their laptops were upside-down?

…remember the days when people could just go for a ride without the compulsive desire to track, document and record every second of it?

Remember the days when drivers didn’t intentionally try to drive you off the road?

So, yeah, like that.

How does a gps prevent you from being run over?

So, yeah, like what??

Remember when cyclists weren’t so concerned about whether or not other cyclists were tracking , documenting, or otherwise recording their rides and instead just concerned themselves with their own riding?

I never said I was concerned, just simply saying “remember when….” Much like the OG comment of remembering old laptops. I definitely don’t care what you do and shouldn’t you care what I do.

I run a Spurcycle in the drops below the left shifter (bell facing to starboard, lever facing fore) which is easy to ring yet always out of the way.

(Stupid expensive bell, TBH, but sounds great!)

That frees up the K-Edge for the Garmin and GoPro. Simple!

I’m with you, although no Spurcycle, just a Incredibell Omnibell, which works great. Right at the hood, where my hands usually rest. Of course with all the earbud wearing folks on the local MUP, it is pointless.

In my opinion it’s a great innovation.

It’s cheaper than a normal Garmin mount, hide my bell costs around 25.5 pounds/ 30 euros/32 USD and a normal Garmin mount costs around 34 pounds/ 40 euros/ 42 USD.

An advantage of the hide my bell is that it is compatible with a lot of products like:

Cycling Computers:
-Garmin Edge 20, 25, 200, 500, 510, 520, 800, 810, 820, 1000 and Touring
– Wahoo Rflkt / Rflkt +
– Sigma ROX GPS 7.0 and ROX GPS 11.0
– 3T Eye
– O_synce CoachSmart
-Cyclo series: except the old Mio Cyclo 305 with the large cover
– Polar M450 & V650
– Wahoo ELEMNT
-Bryton Rider 100,310,330,530
– Bryton Rider 20,30,35,40,60

Action cams:
– GoPro serie
– Shimano cam-
-Garmin Virb

Front lights:
– Sigma Buster 100 with optional action cam adapter
– Sigma Buster 200 with optional action cam adapter
– Sigma Buster 600 with optional action cam adapter
– Sigma Buster 2000 standard equipped with action cam adapter
– Light & Motion with optional action cam adapter
– LED24 models

Front light / action cam combo:
– Cycliq FLY12

You also aren’t needed to ride with a bell, a mount for your gps/computer and a front light so you can ride with an almost clean handlebar. It is easy to flick the bell by just pulling the clapper 2 times and people will hear you coming. The hide my bell is mounted very solid if you turn the screw tight. And it’s also very easy to move the mount to another bicycle instead of replacing the bell, the mount and the lights.

My conclusion is that it is a great product and worth buying if it is necessary to have a bell.
