UNDER $10

  • Wolf Tooth Components precision headset spacer saves weight and looks tight. Available in 5mm, 10mm and 25mm heights, from 2-9g ($4.95).
  • Orange Seal endurance formula tubeless tire sealant, available in 4oz and $8oz, includes an injector nozzle to make refills quick and easy. We use it all the time (from $9.99).
  • Shimano SLX 6-bolt disc brake rotor makes a great replacement or upgrade, available in 160mm, 180mm and 203mm sizes (from $9.99).

  • We can always use a fresh pair of gloves, and these Dakine Concept gloves use a lightweight stretch mesh top with a full coverage perforated silicone gripper palm, making them tacky and cool for summer riding ($14.99). The women’s version is even better ($16.99).
  • Red Monkey’s made-in-the-USA, 100% silicone Karv XT grips are big and cushy and come in nine (NINE!!!) colors ($19.99).
  • Nothing ruins a ride more thoroughly then a squeaky drivetrain, and you know those old toothbrushes just aren’t cutting it. JensonUSA’s chain cleaning kit gets you the horse for the course, plus a frame and component brush to finish the job. A clean bike is a happy bike is a fast bike ($24.99).

$25 to $50

  • We’ve been using the Crank Brothers Multi 19 Tool around Bikerumor’s office for almost five years and it’s yet to let us down. It’s got most anything you’d need out on the trail, it’s not too heavy, and the all metal construction means we’ll probably get another five out if it easy. We especially love the built-in chain breaker, but the five different ano options is the deal maker ($29.69).
  • If you prefer to stash a tool and pump under your water bottle and do it all in style, the Syncros MB Tailor Cage packs it all into a compact form factor while still delivering a high volume mini pump with extendable flex hose, 12 tools w/ chain breaker and a lightweight bottle cage ($44.99).
  • The Urge SupaCross helmet is feature packed, with exposed padding to speed drying, huge vents, their signature impact dispersion ring and stylish looks. It’s a deal at full price, but JensonUSA’s got it for half off MSRP. Includes multiple pad sets, and the straps are made of recycled PET and shell from recycled EPS ($49.99)
  • You know the shoes gotta match the helmet, right? Carry that black and white motif from head to toe by adding the Mavic Crossride XL Elite Protect shoes and keep your feet just as safe as your noggin. They feature Contagrip outsoles for killer hike-a-bike traction plus ankle, upper foot, toe and heel protection. Enduro ready outta the box ($79.99).

  • Whether it’s in the pits or in your garage, the Feedback Sports Scorpion Stand takes a moto-inspired staple and uses it to display your ride in style ($59.99).
  • Speaking of moto crossovers, Alpinestars’ Manual mountain bike shorts are popular for a reason. The Italian brand took their tough, race proven MX clothing and transformed it into some of the most functional and comfortable trail shorts around. Available in even sizes in red, blue, black and camo ($79.99).
  • At this point, if you haven’t gone 1x on your mountain bike, you’re probably at least ready to. Absoluteblack makes it extremely easy with direct mount rings for SRAM GXP and BB30 cranks, and their oval narrow/wide design helps you keep traction on the climbs and your chain in place on the descents. Available in black, red, green and gold, from 26-34 teeth ($67.99).
  • We all need them, we all use them, and yes, tire prices have gotten absolutely out of hand. So what better time to give or get new rubber? The Schwalbe Nobby Nic is one of our favorites thanks to great grip and easy tubeless set up. JensonUSA’s got all versions in 2.25 and 2.35 widths for 29er, starting at just $29.99. We like the 29×2.35 TL Easy Trail compound ($69.99).

OVER $100

  • Like tires, pedals wear out, too. One of our most highly rated pedals ever reviewed is the HT Components T1 pedal. The platform is perfectly sized for anything from XC to enduro, the curve and pin height keeps your shoes in place without restricting dance moves, and the retention can be dialed as tight as you like. Plus, they come in  TEN colors! ($139.99)
  • It’s hard to argue against Shimano’s legendary stopping power, especially when you can get virtually identical performance to their XTR and XT parts with the latest SLX stoppers ($159.98, or $79.99 per wheel).
  • If you’ve had a dropper seatpost for a while, chances are it’s getting worn out. Some are rebuildable, and for others, the cost and effort might end up being more than the entry point for the new Fox Transfer. Our testing so far has been very positive, and it’s almost half the price of its top competitors ($264.00).
  • What’s a wish list without at lease one pie-in-the-sky, budget busting item? If you’re gonna have hoop dreams, they may as well be hand-made-in-America carbon fiber hoops, laced to some of the most reliable hubs in the industry. ENVE’s Sixty40 wheels are a mid-width 27.5″ option to cover most trail and all mountain riding ($2,718.00)

Stay tuned for JensonUSA’s gift guides for roadies, commuters and cyclocrossers!
