You asked for it, now it’s here. After launching the new carbon version of the Flux, Turner only offered the bike in a matte white paint job. While it looked incredible (especially in person), it seems that there were enough potential customers asking for a black version that Turner made it happen. Still available in white as well, both frames have a matte finish and 120mm of DW Link suspension travel. If you need any more motivation to pick up a new Turner trail bike, they’re still running the promotion which will land you some sweet new carbon wheels – for free…

First spotted as a prototype in white at Sea Otter last year, this bike was also fitted with the Knight Composites Enduro wheelset. Part of a deal Turner is running with Knight Composites, if you purchase a complete Flux build in either color, the carbon wheel upgrade which normally runs $1,416 is included free of charge. It seems this is good until the wheels are gone, and is only available in the U.S.

Available in S-XL frame sizes, complete bikes start at $5,447 with the SRAM GX build kit.

Very nice bike, just like the RFX. Too bad the sizing is from like 10 years ago.

How is the sizing (geometry) from 10 years ago? Seems like the travel and geo straddle the line between a modern XC bike and a longer travel trail bike. It’s a light trail bike from my point of view and fairly up to date except the lack of boost spacing in the rear, which I’d personally only care about on a 29er. I’d consider this bike.

Sizing/geometry look spot on for a bike like this.

$5500 for a bike with GX.

Unfortunately looks like a pretty standard price for a pretty standard build. SRAM is working hard to make everyone think GX = XT which is garbage on all fronts.

I have the Turner Flux 3.0 aluminum version and the sizing is definitely not 10 years old. It is a great XC/Trail bike that is very versatile.

Still one of the ugliest bike on the market! How do they do that? and external cable routing. Retro 90s!!

External cable routing is good. It makes the bike easier to work on. Internal cable routing was popular in the early 90s, it disappeared until about 2010 because it was a pain in the butt to work on. Internal cable routing looks good, but that its only plus- it appears from time to time, and then fortunately disappears.

Seriously, this back and forth about internal vs external cable routing is too much.
