The Build Cycle podcast is the best podcast for entrepreneurs and startups

We’re LIVE! The Build Cycle Podcast is the new podcast from Bikerumor.com founder Tyler Benedict that explores the startup stories and growth tactics of hundreds of entrepreneurs, both from within and outside the cycling industry! If you’ve ever been curious about how some of your favorite brands got started, this podcast expands on our “How To Break Into The Cycling Industry” interview series and dives deep into the details, tips and tactics used to launch, grow and succeed! So, whether you just like hearing their stories, you’ve got your side hustle on, or you’re looking to jump ship and start your own business, The Build Cycle is for you! Links and streaming player for our first THREE episodes, below…

EPISODE #001 – LINDARETS

Marc Basiliere tells how he started Lindarets, the small products design firm that’s behind the Goat Link, ReMote and other products that help your mountain bike work better…and how he worked with Wolf Tooth Components to get them manufactured and brought to market. Check out all the show notes, links and more from Marc on The Build Cycle here.

EPISODE #002 – FEEDBACK SPORTS

Did you know Feedback Sports’ founder Doug Hudson also started Chrome? Yes, that Chrome, of Chrome messenger bags. He and a buddy started it right out of college, then immediately road tripped to Colorado to go skiing, even though they had just made their first pair of Chrome baggy mountain bike shorts. Correct…they launched that brand with baggies. Fast forward, and now they’re promoting their line of premium tool kits to go with their shiny red work stands. Check out all the show notes, links and more from Doug on The Build Cycle here.

EPISODE #003 – PRESSCAMP

PressCamp is the annual gathering of brands and journalists to check out the latest and greatest in a relaxed, one-on-one setting that not only gives us time to write a better story and ask better questions, but also a chance to test ride new bikes and parts. The event came about as Lance Camisasca and Chad Battistone left Interbike to create something that provided more value to attendees on both sides of the press table. Here’s how he did it and grew it into an acquisition candidate (and sold it and keeps growing it). Check out all the show notes, links and more from Lance on The Build Cycle here.
