Last year it was purple. This year, Paul Component is offering a blue version of everything they make. From brake levers to seatposts to quick releases to calipers, it’s all gone blue. Don’t be sad, you can still nab a few remaining purple pieces if you act quick. But if you’re ready to move on, click past the break for something new and blue…
We spent the past couple days riding the new parts at Paul Camp, and the blue is scientifically proven to be faster (not really), less sensitive to being a fad (maybe), and matches well with blue parts from White Industries and Chris King (this is true).
This is the Hunter Cycles monster crosser I rode. Note how good the blue parts look against a red bike with white accents. Definitely faster.
That’s the stock parts list available in blue, but if there’s something else you want, just reach out to them and they might be able to make it happen. Some items are available immediately, others will be made over the next 6-8 weeks, with orders taken for approximately six months before they retire the color and make us wait until next May to see its successor.
