Not too long ago, when Ibis launched their new Mojo HD4, the picture pack included a tiny little bicycle Easter egg. A few of the photos included what appeared to be a custom bag from Blackburn nestled in the front of the frame. We were told that they weren’t quite ready for their release, but to expect something soon.
That time is now as Ibis just unwrapped their new line of Pork Chop frame bags. Available for the Ripley as well as the Mojo HD4, the bags attach without any straps or bolts and should provide a great place to store the essentials…
Designed by Ibis and built by Blackburn, the new Pork Chop frame bag is designed to fit snugly inside a Mojo HD4/HD3 and Ripley frames without any straps. That means no rubbing on the frame, but thanks to an internal suspension and wedge system, no falling out either.
Inside are elastic straps and retention systems to keep CO2 cartridges and other stuff from bouncing around. It’s water resistant, padded, and still allows full access to shock adjustments. And it still lets you fit the usual amount of water bottles inside the front triangle.
The Ripley Pork Chop Frame Bag works with any Ripley LS, including the V2 Ripley (Tang or Black) and Gen 3 Ripley (Ti-Ho Silver or VitP Green), and the Mojo HD4/HD3 and Mojo 3, which comes in frame size-specific bag sizes (Medium, Large or XL). Retail is $49.99, available now.
