Not too long ago, when Ibis launched their new Mojo HD4, the picture pack included a tiny little bicycle Easter egg. A few of the photos included what appeared to be a custom bag from Blackburn nestled in the front of the frame. We were told that they weren’t quite ready for their release, but to expect something soon.

That time is now as Ibis just unwrapped their new line of Pork Chop frame bags. Available for the Ripley as well as the Mojo HD4, the bags attach without any straps or bolts and should provide a great place to store the essentials…

Designed by Ibis and built by Blackburn, the new Pork Chop frame bag is designed to fit snugly inside a Mojo HD4/HD3 and Ripley frames without any straps. That means no rubbing on the frame, but thanks to an internal suspension and wedge system, no falling out either.

Inside are elastic straps and retention systems to keep CO2 cartridges and other stuff from bouncing around. It’s water resistant, padded, and still allows full access to shock adjustments. And it still lets you fit the usual amount of water bottles inside the front triangle.

The Ripley Pork Chop Frame Bag works with any Ripley LS, including the V2 Ripley (Tang or Black) and Gen 3 Ripley (Ti-Ho Silver or VitP Green), and the Mojo HD4/HD3 and Mojo 3, which comes in frame size-specific bag sizes (Medium, Large or XL). Retail is $49.99, available now.

I know, a free website made a mistake. Better point out how wicked smart I am, so all the E-honeys will know I’m a cool guy.

It’s not a bikerumor article without a typo, and typing D instead of P doesnt exactly end the world.

I forgot an apostrophe. I hope you can figure it out anyway.

The two reasons, I love my SWAT storage area, have never been reported in promotional people at the big S…1st, I LOVE having my heavy 29er tube, CO2 and head down low (did you see that?), for low center of gravity and 2nd, when cleaning the bike, its rad to quickly remove the bottle cage for cleaning my area down there…near the BB and cranks. Having the stuff off my back and always ready to go ain’t too shabby either.

Frame bag and water bottle inside the triangle. My SB6c is literally green with jealousy.

Will it work on the Ibis “Tranny”? You know, the ones Ibis says “don’t just hang around soho” and “weren’t conceived under the surgical lights of Trinidad Colorado”? Cue the trolls who think it’s ok for Ibis to use a slur against transgender people and “jokes” based on it to market a bicycle.

I agree that it’s an inappropriate name, but your use of quotation marks suggests Ibis said these things, and I don’t see it on their site now, nor have I in the 7 or 8 years since they first released this otherwise cool bike. You’re already right, no need to add fake quotes.

FYI, it’s a harmless name for a bicycle. Not everything has to be PC! GIVE ME A BREAK1

Then make another DIY framebag and keep making them until you perfect it. Maybe design it on paper and get a few ideas from high end backpacks then go on to making it cool and practical.
