Alongside the insanely light Silverton SL wheels, Syncros launched more traditionally spoked carbon rim mountain bike wheels and more integrated, full carbon one-piece bar and stems for everything from Enduro to Trail to XC. Long used for their road bikes, the Syncros Hixon IC debuted on the Genius last year with three different rise options and a 780mm width. Now, there’s a new Hixon Rise, which grows to 800mm, and a couple options for XC.
The new XC race-ready Fraser IC SL is shown on the top and has four effective stem lengths from 60mm to 90mm. It looks shorter because it does use a shorter stem, relying on the outward swing of the bar’s middle section to add length. This lets them bring the angle of the grip section back to a more comfortable angle, and creates better bend angles for the carbon.
The new Hixon Rise is on the bottom, and full specs for all models are here:

Syncros will offer matching computer mount and headset spacers to keep the integrated look going. The bar at the top of this post with the severe drop is a special edition model made for Nino Schurter but available in limited quantities. It has a -25º rise and will set you back $429. The regular versions are made in larger quantities and come in at $329.
2019 Syncros Silverton & Revelstoke Carbon MTB Wheels
We were first to publish the new Silverton SL full carbon wheels and their 1,250g weight. All of the tech details and photos are in this post, but we wanted to add a video run through to set things in motion.
Directly below the SL model are the new Silverton 1.0 and Revelstoke 1.0. Both get traditional spokes and lacing patterns, and share the same hubs, but vary by rim width and thickness.
Rim profile is the same as their Silverton SL shown here. All items from this post available now, and the SL wheels come out in September.
