After many of their customers for the original 27.5+/29er Bardino Ti wanted to build the titanium enduro hardtail with smaller, lighter & more nimble 27.5″ all-mountain trail-ready tires, Nordest took the bike back to the drawing board. The new Bardino Ti 650b chops 15mm off the rear end, while still clearing some meaty tires.

The new Bardino Ti 650b is essentially the same bike as the previous plus-sized or 29er model. The chainstays though get dialed back to just 410mm for more snappy handling on the trail, now with room for up to 27.5″ x 2.6″ tires.

Tech details

The Bardino Ti 650b stays Boost spaced with its interchangeable thru-axle dropouts, keeps a 44mm straight for tapered headtube, internal dropper routing, and gets ISCG 05 mounting tabs.

The double butted Ti3Al2.5V titanium frame still gets a slack 65° head angle, and is best paired with 160mm forks, although Nordest says you can dial that back to a 140mm fork or even up to 170mm!

The 1850g (~4lb) frame weight claim doesn’t change. But the smaller-wheeled bike will be available now in just three stock sizes (M, M/L & L), plus a custom geo option for just a 150€ upcharge.

The new Nordest Bardino Ti 650b frame sells for the same 1300€ as the original, and can be pre-ordered now with a 8 week lead time. Stock sizes should be in stock later this summer. The original will still carry on fitting up to 29×2.5″ or 27.5 x 3.0″ tires. The made in Taiwan titanium frame comes with a 5 year warranty, and pricing includes free delivery in the EU.
